My 07 Vfr

Just thought I'd share a few updated photos of my VFR. I have a ton more to put on but will have to find the time as I am super busy with work for a couple months.

2bros exhaust and Sproket / Chain is really all you can see. I have cut my Chain Guard better than that, just don't have a pic for it. Put my PCIII USB on as well as K&N And SpeedoHealer, which is under the seat. Took the Rear Pegs off and added a Fender Eliminator. So far so good. Kind of curious though. Will the Cozey MAP Download in the downloads section work better than the Custom MAP the Dyno dudes did who did my bike?

Can't help you with the mapping, but man, that looks nice!

That depends on how good the people who did your Dyno mapping are. My guess is probably not, as there are so many variables on every bike and yours was made custom for yours. BUT the Cozye map was designed to provide smooth throttle response and an even VTEC transition, whereas the map that was made for you was probably done only to achieve a certain AFR.

I'd recommend downloading the both and taking a look at them, you may want to take your custom map and modify the VTEC transition point and possible low RPM throttle on/off transitions to look like Cozye's.

And you can always try them both. Just make sure you save your custom map to your computer (and maybe a backup disc, too) first!

I will do that. I was just worried that the MAP for download said 06 and my bike is an 07. Wasn't sure if that made a difference. To be honest... I am not that Power Commander literate enough yet to just start tinkering. I'd rather get advice from you guys before I begin.

The fuel mapping changed between 2005 and 2006, and the maps are not compatible. Cozye's map was originally made for the 2002-2005 VFR's, and then someone modified his map to work on the 2006 (and up) models, so make sure you get the version which says 2006 that's the one you want.

I am using the modified Cozyes for 06 (and up) that I got from this site (jonsy) and it works really well.
Smooth all the way through...

Thanks. I plan on giving it a try when I get home in December. I am going to try and throw it up on the Dyno again before and after the MAP is installed to get a better picture of what is going on.
