Anyone catch this? Pretty decent writeup, though some of it seemed like a backhanded compliment in favor of the 5th gens. I have never ridden a 5th gen so I cannot make a comparison, but I have not noticed the "lag in the midrange" from the V-Tec they mentioned. The engagement is however, slightly annoying, but I've grown used to it. I can identify with the t-stat issue, skipped the recall (no problems so far) and acknowledge the high operating temps in traffic. Other than the high # on the guage panel, it has never seemed to be an issue though. Anyone else have thoughts?

Also some good sneak info on the VFR1200 and ST1300, but I'll save that for another area to talk about....:)

Ummmm....... I'd agree, but the other one (which I just saw) is in the 7th gen section, so it's not entirely my fault. My subsciption does seem to arrive later than most though :)

Yep, a re-post, but I think the "smart buy" mag article part of the original thread should have been here in the 6th gen. section. ;)
