I got my pro-oiler installed from off my old motorcycle, I am going to be ordering grip heaters and will probably be adding a socket for a heated vest. I'd be interested to see how others have gone about mounting switches and like. I am thinking about making some sort of bracket coming off the clip on bar clamps.
Anyone got any pictures of what they have done? I'd prefer not to use the fairing.

Bracket for voltage meter and accompanying switch mounted to gas tank bolt. No plastic whacking, no interference with top tree.

I've got three switches mounted in the black plastic shroud, inside the front fairing. It is plenty strong to hold small stuff. You can see the piece I am talking about just to the right of the homemade plate in the photo above. I did choose the left side for use, though.
I mounted my switches in the little black triangle piece that covers the windshield bolts. Almost invisible unless you look for them. I used a push button on the left side for my Garage Door Opener, and a on-off-on round rocker on the left side for my heated grips.
Grip heater switch is the little round rocker switch on the left inside black shroud and my garage door opener is in the center cap on the triple tree. No volt meter or plug in for heated gear for me.
