Pictures Of Honda Factory Bags

Would one of you with factory hard bags be kind enough to snap of few pics of the backside of the bag and the bracket on the bike. I'm interested in seeing the mounting / locking points on the bag and bracket. I'm trying to see how much fabrication would be required to mount these on a CBR.

Sounds like an interesting project. As you can see they mount in three places. First to the rear part of the passenger pegs, then to the passenger grab handles, then at the rear to the fender. Though I think the main stress points are the passenger pegs and grab handle mounts. Aside from getting all this to mount up to a CBR, you might want to look at the sub frame. The sub frame of the VFR is much more beefy to support the dual undertail exhaust and the added weight of luggage. The CBR sub frame might not be up to the task.

+1. The OEM bags come with an undertail bracket to swap out, and IIRC it's a little more stout than the original.
