Rear Stand?

What rear stand do you use for your bike? I am looking for a good one that wont break the bank too badly, but want it strong enough to hold the bike all winter. If you have any websites that would guide me in the right direction to purchase one I would appreciate that too, thanks guys, pics are a plus too :D

I have an LP usa stand that I got for my Hawk GT years ago, it's very strong, but was expensive....and the pin is pretty sloppy.

I see that you don't have a center stand.....I suppose most of us do on here. I would recommend Pit Bull, they make great stuff, you'd have to go to their website for prices.....

My buddies that have Ducatis use them and the pins fit really well.

Or if you were really looking to save money just get a half inch steel rod, about 24 inches long and put it through the rear axle on some cheap jackstands...wrap some duct tape around the rod to keep it from scratching the wheel on the right side.

Do you have a front stand??

I've got a pitbull front stand, and a single-sided pitbull rear stand that I use for the Hawk and for the VFR. I'm satisfied with both stands.

I've got the one with the "forward" handle. If I were starting over, I'd still get a pitbull stand, but I would just go for the "regular" one (not the one with the forward handle).

To expand on that, the forward lift rear stand allows you to easily put the bike on the stand while sitting on the seat, which is particularly useful if you don't have a side stand (think track bike). The regular lift rear stand allows you to move the bike around when on the stand and is probably more stable.

Don't cheap out on the rear stand. I bought a $90 one and the bike leans to the right when it's on the stand. Pitbull's don't do that.

I dont have a rear or front stand yet, and I dont wanna go cheap to the point that my bike is leaning or has a possibility of falling over, that would be the worse

if this is for the winter, why wouldn't you just put on center stand and simply block up under the exhaust? it would keep the tires off the ground and be stable. oh, and its free...i do this all the time when i pull both wheels off.
