Anyone ever put a Slider, or found the need to put a Slider where the rear pegs go? I removed mine and have my Frame Sliders going on in a few when I get the time. However, I was looking at the bike from the side and it looks like in a fall, the rear would still get hit.
I agree, the rear cowl is vulnerable unless you are running "hard bag sliders", which would prove to be very expensive if used. If you are not going to have your rear pegs mounted then you could try a slider there except the aluminum brackets would most likely crack on impact as has happened with front peg brackets for some who have dumped their bikes. Certainly worth a look though.
I just wonder how bulky or how far it would hang out there. Usually if it has been done to a VFR, you can find it here. I couldn't find any pics in the search. Was hoping to get lucky.

Going to try these I think. Might be interesting. I am not near my bike though, anyone tell me what kind of material that black bracket part is? Think it would survive a tip over with a slider attached to it?
