Ok so the Givi tubular mounts for the 6th gen seem to be on perpetual back order. But there are some on Ebay for a few bucks more than places that won't have them till mid Feb.
However, the person selling them on ebay says that his HAVE to have the top rack mount or they will not fit. He is selling what appears to be plain PL166 racks and I cannot find anything to support that statement.
Anyone have any input ? I'd hate to buy these and have them not be the right ones for some oddball reason.
I'm re-using my old E42N's from my 5th gen but need new mounts and I'm getting sick and tired of wearing a backpack.

MUST have the FZ166 top bag mount to mount the PL166 racks at all. Called givi today to double check.
