Retail a new set of Staintunes for a 6th gen would set an Aussie back $AUD1,300. That's about $1,150 in US currency. For a while there it was actually cheaper for us to order a set from the US (by a few hundred dollars) - ironic seeing as they first had to ship it over there and then ship it back. I could never justify the cost, sooo much money for just a better sounding note from the bikes backend. I would rather sink the money into something which actually improved performance (noticably), and I did by upgrading my suspension. On the other hand if a well priced second hand set came up for sale over here...

LOL, parting out my '02 VFR was one of my grand plans when I was going to buy the new VFR1200. Shame it sucks so much - I've just dropped $4k Australian on mods and fixes for my '02, and I think it was money better spent!
