I have aptitude in many areas, but as a motorcycle mechanic I suck! Equate my dilemma with the next time you might think about doing a root canal on yourself...http://www.vfrdiscussion.com/forum/public/style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif
Seriously, I wish I had the know how, the tools, the space, the...well you get the picture.

hey. i pulled my rear wisdom tooth out in under 60 seconds with a pair of curved vice grips.. saved me 500 bucks and getting drunk on grand marnier is better than getting gassed in a chair.

Well, I really don't know how to respond to that! Some will try anything and damn the consequences if there's a bad outcome. Glad you didn't end up with necrosis of the mandible and loose half your jaw! Hope your comment was in jest...mine is! http://www.vfrdiscussion.com/forum/public/style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif

My buddy's uncle is a self-employed carpenter. When he cuts himself, no matter how badly, he stitches it up himself. He's been doing this for going on 45 years, and never got an infection or any other adverse outcome. The numerous scars aren't pretty, but his wallet is!
