Need info from someone with factory top box

Hi folks,

I've found a 2nd-hand OEM top box for my '02 VFR on eBay, but it does not come with the carrier (bracket), it only comes with the mat.
Now, I already have a small Givi top box, which is mounted to a Ventura sports rack via adapter bolts on the Givi bracket.

I would love to know if you have detailed pictures of the Honda carrier and bracket which the OEM box attaches to, so I can see if it's possible for me to weld up something which could be mounted to my Ventura system somehow. I'm mostly interested how the mat bolts to the carrier!

Don't know if this will work. Look through this thread, see if it helps a bit.
