Looking for a more upright and comfortable riding posture, I put Heli Bars on 2 years ago. Heli's were better but just slightly. LSL bars are MUCH better, almost perfect upright posture, no wieght on my wrists. Awesome product. So if you are looking to upgrade your comfort I recommend LSL bars. You don't need new cables BUT some will need rerouting. That being said I put my Heli's up for sale in the sell section below in this forum for about 1/2 what they cost new.

Which bar did you end up going with, and what's the rerouting process like as far as time? Any cutting required?

No cutting needed on a 6th gen bike, other gens I'm not sure. Google LsL bars honda vfr, about 4 threads down you will see a vid you can click on explaing the install by a VFR owner. You just need to reroute throttle cables and clutch cable, I did not need to remove inner fairing like the guy in the vid did, not sure why he had to do that. The only bar you can go with is the one that comes with the kit AN 1 low superbike bar. You can not use the AN 2 high superbike bar, you will need new cables and the fairing will interfere and need to be cut. Totally not needed. The kit bar puts you in a almost full upright posture, depending on a persons hieght, arm length. I am average Hieght around 5' 10. Time to install just depends on if you get stuck on something but I would say average about 2 hours give or take.
I wonder what the 'low superbike' bar is like compared to my current stock clip-ons + Gen Mar risers that my 6th has installed. I'm 6'5" and would like to be a little farther from the tank, comfortably.
If this setup can use stock cables and tubing then I wonder if it's really that far out from where the controls are placed now. I guess the re-route may change that up somewhat though so it's probably not a great way to compare. Anyone in the Denver area running an LSL on their 6th gen VFR for me to sit on?
