New VFR owner

I just brought home a 2005 VFR. The bike has 4K miles and is in really good shape. I'm looking forward to getting some rides in this fall before winter hits.

Sorry, I thought I posted a picture last time.

While I was cleaning it up, I disconnected the PAIR system, flapper valve and took off the snorkel. I have not evaluated the changes yet, but am looking forward to it.

Quick question, anyone out there have some textile pants they really like for all around use? I was looking at firstgear and dainese. The dainese are expensive, but I like that they use GORE-TEX, which really helps with the breathing. I have not seen any reviews on these though.

Welcome and thx for posting the pic of your bike .... If you like GORE-TEX (I do) it's going to cost.... Both of those are nice.... But shop the web for the best price.... Plenty of web stores.....

favorite pants is like favorite anything else.

i have had good luck with first gear, cortech, frank thomas and speed and strength.

there are so many now, its hard to narrow it down.

good buy on the bike though, you will have you some fun.

Howdy Twitte. Welcome to the VFR family. I just got a 2005 four weeks ago myself. It is my second VFR. I had a fifth gen before.
I see you too got the fastest color,winning red. LOL. You are in great company with the great and wonderful Sebspeed...and me of course.LOL

I paid $5250 for it, which I thought was reasonable. There was quite a few VFR's in the northeast area to choose from. I will post some more pics once I get it out for a ride, I am still waiting for registration.
