During the Long Beach Motorcycle show, I stopped by a booth and picked up a flyer for this riding school (http://www.gopolen.com/index.php). Anyone been or heard anything about it?

Maximum of 6 riders per one-day class. Less than $600 bucks for the whole day with a four-time champ. Sounds pretty good.

Check this out too...(http://fasttrack.ducatiusa.com/). Found it on the rider school site.

Buy a new Duc superbike and get the class, an EZ-up, tire warmers, chairs, and a watch for free. Just got to spend $15k! :laughing6-hehe: I guess if you're going to buy one, might as well get some stuff for free.

I've learned about Doug Polen's One on One school in 08 during my display gig at Pit Bull Long Beach Show...

Indeed Doug Polen is a 4 time World Champion...
91 WSBK Ducati
92 WSBK Ducati
97 World Endurance GSXR750 (stinky I4)
98 World Endurance RC45

I think Doug can teach me a thing or two about riding the RC45...

You can catch Doug Polen at Laguna Seca during MotoGp...

I was scheduled to ride with him at Barber last year during AHRMA. We got in one session in the rain before the downpore became unsafe to ride in (and neither of us wanted to risk the RC45 anymore than we already had...)

He does a unique form of instruction in that he hooks you up with a radio on and rides with you and talks as he works with you. Based in the little time I had with him, I would definitely do it again! It was a blast despite the weather. He is a neat guy, very knowledgeable, and damn fast. How often do you get to ride with a World Champion??

On top of that, they refunded most of my money for the day. They are a class act. Highly recommend it if you have the opportunity. :cheerleader:

Is he actually signing your RC45??!! I don't know if I'd even let Rossi sign my lowly 5th gen.
