Well, my VFR unfortunately fell over this weekend (Twice, but I caught it the first time), and broke the right hand side mirror off. I need to get a replacement ASAP, but not sure if I should fork over the $85 or so for a new OEM, or if there is an aftermarket mirror that is pretty close to OEM.
The only set of aftermarket mirrors I have had (on my 93), were very shaky compared to OEM. Not sure if this is the case for the 6th Gen, but wanted to see if you guys know what I should get.

Thanks in Advance.

While I can't help with the aftermarket question, I do have a suggestion.
Chances are, the mirror stem snapped off where it flattens out to go in the mount.
If you have the two pieces, a good welder can repair it and when it's painted, the repair is barely noticeable.
Don't ask how I know this.
I have had to replace a couple of mirrors on my '02. After buying 2 OEM(my local dealer price matched Ron Ayers, around 65 I think) I decided to try EMGO. I bought one from "StarCycle" for around 25. It turned out to be a great choice. Good optical quality and the fit and finish a dead match.

So I found the EMGO mirror finding site and all I see is a 5th gen and earlier mirror on the US site. Am I missing it somewhere?
This one for a CBR600 F4 looks very similar...anybody try one of these?
Thanks for all the suggestions. I will probably pull the mirror tonight and see if I can get a shop to weld it (as long as they don't want more than $25 or so), otherwise I will probably just order one from Service Honda ($65 + shipping) and be done with it....
I might go the EMGO route, but then I would have to buy 2....I don't know why, I would just need them to match. And at that point I am at or above buying one from Honda and just being done.
I have one stock and 1 EMGO on my bike and nobody can tell the difference and it cost $35. You will have to use the stock bolt because the EMGO bolt rusted after like 3 days, no rust anywhere else though.
