This year I never even made it to that part of 28 period!

We stopped and I have a pic of Skuuter clearing the leaves......umm sliding down the hill.  I'll see if I can get it posted.

I stopped there with team Yankee on the way up on Wednesday. We cleared some leaves, but yeah, it's hard to stand close with riding boots!

I specifically asked Skuuter to point out where the memorial was.... I found out that we had already ridden past it once in a direction that was hard to see.   We later went back going the other direction.

As Smee42 (now Sweeper) said, Skuuter stopped and our group gathered around while he climbed up the hill to clear away some undergrowth and tidy up the area.  I did not take a photo.

I stopped on Thursday morning on my way over to the Gap, took a moment to reflect on life and why we hold this event.

I probably thought about him more, because I could never find it, so I thought about him each time I was on twenty eight which was my main road the whole five days.

Did not stop, but know the location, and acknowledge it every time I ride by

Stopped on Wednesday to pay my respects and to reflect on what a great community this is.

Earlier in the week I programmed the co-ordinates into my Zumo that Skuuter had posted awhile back and stopped at the site.  The irony .......... such a beautiful stretch of twisties that also wreaked such havoc.  28 has my respect, and also my praise - I love that road from Franklin through to the Dragon Store.

RIP Bruce.

I generally stop there at least 4 or so times each year before T-Mac to keep it relatively clean.....it grows over pretty bad unless the vines and roots are pulled occasionally in the Spring....

Couple times thru the year I stop and pay my respects.

For those of us that are not familiar with where it is, can anybody tell the mile markers it's between or something so I can look for it when I'm riding through that area?
