Hi guys,im new and come with a few questions!

Im new to the forums so a little about me 1st!
im 27 living in uk and about to purchace my first vfr.
Having sold my 02 triumph tt600 just this morning.

I will be picking up a 02 vfr vtec from a friend for �150 a bargain i say.
But it needs a fair amount of work doing.

heres the list as far as i know.

Full exhaust system(rotten due to salt on our roads over winter and serious lack of cleaning)
new tires
new chain and sprocket
new plugs oil filter
will put new air filter on too
brake pads i guess
powder coat the wheels

and a few gallons of elbow grease!!

that i believe should be it.

i also plan to re spray the bike depending on funds in the old 90s red blue stripes (like vfr 750 and 400)

i will post a few questions in another post.


looking forward to my 1st project bike i may ask some stupid questions but i will try to search the forums 1st!!

Second, Grats on the upcomming purchase!

Third, I'd take a look at the Clutch / Brake fluid and be prepared for a flush of that fluid as well.

Fourth, make sure you post some pics and be prepared to do some MODS!!!!!!!!

cheers for that i didnt think about that.

as for the mods i open to suggestions.
i was thinking along the lines of single side exit exhaust and i am not keen on the tail,have read on here
about a 08 cbr tail unit on would this be a simpple swap?are there any tail units that will fit on ??
any ideas options more than welcome for some mods.

also ideas on paint scheme??
something a little different but i like the factory look!!
