Dear League of Extraordinary Viffers,

Boredom, allen wrenches, and Honda Clips make for a fun Sunday. I took apart my front end and fairings. The fairings are all going in for paint since I can't seem to keep the bike on the kickstand. The front end is getting the HID upgrades later this week. Here are some pics. Now that I have it apart, I've wondered when I've seen VFR rebuilds before and I now understand why some completely avoid putting the front end back on!

So - any of you that have done this before have any reccomendations for putting it back together? I'm ordering a fastener package to replace my worn Honda clips and some of the fairing bolts etc. I've seen the tip on putting some silicone on the dash grommets so it goes on and off a little easier.
I'm concerned with the two harnesses on the right side above the radiator. Looks like they traveled a little too close to the radiator and have a little heat damage but no melting. Any tips for fixing?

Let me know what you guys think.
Thanks and wish me luck ever getting that thing back together right!

It's more likely the burning on the electrical connectors comes from poor connections/wiring than the radiators.  Now is the time to inspect your wiring for corrosion, poor connections, etc.  Maybe even order a VFRNess.
