If a little sand causes you to crash in an apartment parking lot, your were riding as a danger to the public in an uncontroled manner. Should have been stopped.
Wow. Harsh.
First of all, I did not crash, it was just a safety reminder. This was in my post.
Secondly, though I'm having a hard time actually understanding your sentence, it sounds like you're accusing me of being an unsafe, uncontrolled rider who needs to be stopped. If having a tire slide out in a deep patch of sand makes me a dangerous rider, then I can think of few people who meet your definition of safe.
Thirdly, I distinctly said I was not going fast, and would not really have been hurt. Maybe I over-exaggerated any actual danger to make my point, but still.
Finally, you're completely missing the point. This is a reminder for ATGATT regardless of speed, distance, or location. I once watched a Harley rider somehow fall while coming to a stop. His bike had practically zero forward momentum when he went down, but somehow his (sleeveless) arm got pretty bloody from the asphalt and gravel.
Most of what you said is contrary to what was written in my post. Either you didn't actually read my post, or twisted my meaning in order to criticize. I know it's easy to misunderstand things written on the internet, so I will drop this, but I ask that you are a little more careful before criticizing another member.
So now I'm
REALLY confoosed.
Do I
cancel the 911 call or
not??? :squid: :squid: :squid: :wheel:  :goofy:
