My 2004 Italian red has been sitting a lot lately because it has a bad front tire and well, its winter time (most the time)

I have found leak spots under the bike when it sits for weeks on end not a whole lot but enough to get me concerned.  It doesn't leak when I am constantly running the bike only when it sits.  The fluid is greenish and looks radiator should I be concerned?

Try tightening up all the clamps on the cooling system. The ones under the throttle bodies may be a beeyotch to get at. Fair warning.

Also check your water pump, ahead of the left footpeg. Look underneath and there is about a 1/4" weep hole on the drive snout before it enters the crankcase.

If coolant is leaking from there, your water pump seal is shot and the only fix is a new water pump as Honda does not sell the seal separately.

Also, you should only use silicate-free coolant, to keep the water pump seal happy through it's life.

I've found that a lot of mechanical things do not "like" sitting unused. I'd top up the coolant at the beginning of the riding season and see if the leak disappears. Good suggestions from Veefer though, tighten all the clamps and replace the water pump if the weep hole is leaking.
