Riding home yesterday I was a block away from the house. Nice little curve at 25 a no brainer. It had rained Friday night and the Bradford pears have begun to shead their white flowers. Half way through and the rear end slipped out, ended up in the neighbors front yard. Upright but surprised. Hell it actually scared me.

Silly flowers! Glad you kept it upright. I imagine the Canadians have the same trouble with Maple leaves. Some Aussie natives (flora... not fauna) shed their leaves in the middle of bends. Moss can be hard to see when it gathers on some bends of winding mountain roads. Everyone has black ice. That's nasty stuff. Australia is roundabout central. Not necessarily the big roundabouts - stupid small ones with ridiculously inconsistent camber, usually builds up a layer of soap after a big downpour. Oh, and councils who decide to plant all kinds of things IN the roundabouts so you can't see through them, and stuff washes off the top.
