Won't start - fuel pump not priming

I have a 2003 VFR that ran perfectly last time I rode it, but has not been started in about a year.   I installed a new battery and added some fresh fuel as it was down to red on fuel indicator.

I insert the key and turn to the "on" position, turn on the red "engine stop" switch, hear a relay click, the red FI light comes on for a second or two then goes off, but I never hear the sound of the fuel pump priming.  The starter turns over and the motor spins, but no joy.  I've wiggled the wires that connect to the engine stop switch and flip it back and forth several times to no avail.

How can I further troubleshoot the fuel pump not priming?

I didn't realize there was a forum dedicated to electrical problems, so I was limiting my search to this forum and never saw your post.  I'll check out my connector and see if I'm getting voltage to pump as well.  Thanks for the reply!
