Called "Curing Veefer Madness" cute, eh? The writer does two pages on how he worked over a 2003 to make it less of a Sportbike. "I haven't turned my VFR into an all-day sport tourer, but I've made it more comfortable to ride for several hours at a time, long enough to enjoy the handling and power of a modern sportbike and get home without having to stop at my chiropractor's on the way home..."
He does pretty much what is often discussed here. Not enough content there to run out and buy that magazine just for the write-up, but it is some VFR-press, and his bike looks pretty good.
Personally, I think he HAS turned his bike into an "all day Sport-tourer" It's just what I would do to my Y-2K if I were going cross-country or if I decided to do more long traveling on mine. I think he must have been mainly a Gold Winger or maybe a Harley full dresser..if he calls the VFRs stock riding position 'sporty' I'd guess he's never swung a leg over a Triumph 675 or a Ducatti.
