Sold the '02 VFR and moved on to...

After 8 years and 88k miles on the '02 I decided to move on.  It sold quick for $2975.  Here is a recent pic of the old bike.  Still looking nice bike and running great.

For just $1125 more than I got for the last bike I picked up this '02

73k fewer miles plus ABS and new tires.  Like an attractive 50 year old woman the old bike looked nice in dim light where as the new one has that new bike sparkle looking up close.

I tried real hard to come up with a differnent bike that fits my style and still could not improve on what the 6th Gen. does for me.  I still have the matching OEM side bags and spare body work from before.  Now I get to start all over again with a fresh like new VFR.

Hahaha!  That's awesome!  Nothing like getting your favorite bike back with no miles on it.  Hell of a trade IMO.  Well done. :)

Differences to the old one with the ABS, black front break caliper, aftermarket windshield, tank pads, new tires, minus 73k miles, minus two sets of reflector at front forks and number plate... and what else? :tour:

Turned your old bike into a new one for $1125.  That's the way to do it.  Congratulations!  By the way (and as Dutchy alluded to), there are some 50 yr old women out there that are still looking pretty dang good!  But I know what you mean. :smile:

So now you've given Honda 8 more years to correct their mistake of discontinuing the VFR800 and start making them again ...
