I tried posting this in the maintenance section but no replies. Maybe I will have more luck here.
The remote pre-load adjuster on my ABS rear shock is locked in place and won't turn. Any ideas why this is happening or how I can fix it?

Could be rusted perhaps? I'm not totally familiar with this shock as my current one is the non remote adjustable one. But...I had just picked one off of eBay a few weeks ago and had it in my possesion for a few days before I sent it in to have it refurbished. You might take the remote adjuster off the bike to get a better look at it from the backside. I recall there not being much to this piece.
You can also try sending a PM to Jamie Daugherty, he's the "resident" suspension specialist and is who I sent my shock to for refurbishment.
