'04 dies in slow speed right turns

I've had this happen 4-5 times now with my '04. Very slow/tight right hand turn and the bike dies. I haven't had any other electrical issues,and have had the wiring recall completed. Stock handlebars, no new mods.
Changing the oil and filter is the extent of my wrenching, so I'll be taking it to the shop for the cure (hopefully). I would appreciate any input as to possible causes.

The bike has a auto kill related to how far over the bike is. Even though that shouldn't be the cause, it's not something to over look.

Just right-hand? Does it happen only when you go to apply throttle, or at any time? Mine stalled on me once or twice doing slow speed maneuvers whenever I touched the throttle. I raised the idle just a smidge and all was well.

One other thought... Does this happen only when the bike is cold? Mine can be cold-hearted in the morning and sometimes stalls if it's not warm enough.

My guess would be a short in the front wiring harness that only shorts with larger bar angles to the right.  Did you have the harness Recall done? Many times the tech doesn't route the wire correctly and they rub thru the protective covering.
Also has the bike ever been dropped? Could result in the same rubbing issue.
Pull the upper and check for damaged wires.  You might even be able to reproduce this sitting in your driveway, just run the bike and keep turning back and forth to the right and see if it stalls.

I agree with BR. But if that does not do it and you're at a loss, maybe check all switches that kill the engine to see if they're loose? Centre stand kill switch, the kill switch, maybe even the key? Just trying to see what else would case it. In my case, I had problems with a loose connexion in the infamous blue connector.

Thanks for all the suggestions, guys. I'd also considered that it could be a throttle cable issue or electrical short. Pulling the plastic and doing a little diagnostic per BR sounds like a good start.

I would try the driveway test I mentioned before removing a thing.
