Bike Dropped, Mirror toast

Anybody got an extra right rear view mirror for an 05 ?
I dropped the bike on a gravel road. At least nothing else was
broken, not even me. If anyone has a mirror, I would appreciate
having it for a reasonable sum or even nothing(lol)

Join the club!! Sorry about your mishap though... No mirror from me since mine was dropped on both sides on different occasions, just sympathy vibes. I went gsxr with integrated lights from Fleabay. Good luck Wrestler.

Get an EMGO mirror. I get mine at StarCycle in Lebec, CA, they are online of course. They charge about $30 + shipping $5. They are indistinguishable from the stock.

Sorry to hear about your mishap Ed.  Wish I could help.  I've got a couple of extra mirrors for my 4th gen but don't think they will fit your bike.

+1.  Punch another hole on the "drop" club card.  I have too many holes on mine.   :sad:

Fwiw, before I have time to install my gsxr mirrors --wiring and drilling hole into my extenders may take me some time and I ain't got any to spare these days--I decided to go to a glass shop to have a piece of glass cut to fit into an old mirror with broken glass I found on ebay. They did it and works-$17, cheap. BUT, the glass they used is the same as for cars so OBJECTS ARE CLOSER THAN THEY APPEAR!! Scared the cr@p out of me tonight as I thought the large suv behind was about to run me over while it was nowhere near me. Also, because it blows up the image of what's behind you, it teduces the angle, so you cannot see very "wide" so to speak.  Anyway, maybe not the best replacement solution.

Can you post a pic of the broken mirror? I dropped my bike when I first got it, and the mirror broke at the end where it meets the "hinge" that bolts to the upper fairing. I figured out a way to fix it by drilling two small holes and using two thin metal screws to put it back together, and it has held for 7k miles now...

If your break is similar, I'll take mine off and post some pics of the repair.
