okay guys heres where i am so far. i have downloaded the shift kill enable. i have installed it in the power commander. i have repined the 9 volt adapter. and i have ran wire from the adapter to the general area of the shifter. i spent most of yesterday shopping for brake light switches and thinking about mounting options. this is going to be a bitch due to us not having a shift rod. i am now leaning more to using a micro switch. i think brake light switches require far too travel and pressure to be applied.

also on a side note. i went on a ride last night and bridged the shift kill wires together at speed and i can confirm that it is operational! so yes you can put a quick shifter on a vfr with a pc3 usb. incase anyone is wondering this is done with a fuel cut, not an ignition cut/retard.

Powercommander sell the quickshifter that plugs straight into the pc3, just how you mount it on your gear-shift is the tricky bit.
