Hid Headlight Kit Recomendations?

Anyone have an HID kit on their 6th gen that your happy with?
I'm looking to purchase a kit from a reputable source, but prices seem to vary from manufacturers and they all claim to have the best kit?

It's not cool to admit that you like the light from HID replacement bulbs and ballasts.

But I certainly do! I bought mine from xenonrider almost four years ago. Just do the main bulbs, and don't waste your money on the high beams.

I live in Florida right in the heart of snowbird country. I need to be as visible as possible.
I ride year round and have noticed a few bikes with the blue HID's are very noticeable in a cluster of cars.

DDM tuning, They are cheap and very good quality. Around $25 for one or like $40 for a set and they come with a life time warranty. I'm lucky enough to be able to ride to the shop where they are at so I just picked them up. Have had mine for about 7 months now and they work perfect. No need to spend a couple hundred on pricey name brand.

That's a sweet deal! Did you go with 35 or 55 watt bulbs?  Do I need 9004's or H4,s ?  I think I'll order a set monday. Thanks for the help.

If you just slap in a pnp hid kit you're actually hurting your visibility. Sure everyone can see you on the road but you're blinding oncoming traffic and scattering light everywhere because the housing isn't designed to accept an hid bulb.

I went with a 35w and 6000k since the 55w have to be special ordered. I might get some in the future but the 35w are plenty bright. Not sure what bulbs the stock headlight housing uses since I have projectors and my vfr has non of the original cosmetics but just give them a call and they'll tell you.

@Meyekul: The VFR lowbeam reflectors have a bulb shield that create a cutoff line so He should be fine as long a he makes sure to properly adjust his headlights.

I did some research this morning and decided to order the 35W 10000 bulbs. As far as the color chart goes the 10000 looked more blue & less bright than the 5-6000 white's.
The last thing I want to do is blind people, I'm just looking for a color that will stand out from car traffic and make me a bit more visible. I'll be sure to adjust them properly.

EDIT: I just changed the order to 8000's. The 10000's are too blue. I don't need the rozzers pullin me over. :)

No problem.  I just went on their site and the new $30 price for a pair is a sweet deal. I'm gonna go pick up a 3000k set for my high beam. Hope you'll like them a much as I do.
