Well, testing has begun so it won't be long now..:)
I went ahead and dropped a dime and subscribed to mainline the MotoGP feed for the upcoming season.
(F Speed Channel)
I've only ever been an off season subscriber so looking forward to good things.
An HDMI line should make things come to life! But I digress.
It's looks like a great field for the top 6-8 and it looks like if Marc Márquez has the metal mettle to match his already championship skill to hang with the veterans, it could be a great game of musical chairs for the top step all season.
(It doesn't hurt to have one of the finest machines in the business ;). RC213V
Marquez is already on pace, the kid is the real deal. If he doesn't highside himself (the rookie curse) this year he's going to be right there.
Lorenzo put down an amazing simulation at Sepang 1 and he'll be there.
Rossi has returned. Anyone who doubted he lost anything needs to wake up. He's 1/10th from Lorezno so far but admittedly doesn't have the race pace yet.
Pedrosa is leading everyone, continuing the level he was at since mid-season, last season.
I think we are going to have 4 riders swapping paing, trading race wins, etc, this year. This is better than the past several seasons.
I think Marquez has already crashed this week, and that pic looks like he's about to lowside. The recent super fast alien riders, Stoner, Lorenzo, Pedrosa, and the like, came in ready to prove to the world that they belonged in their rookie seasons. They hauled a$$ in spring testing but fell a lot throughout the course of the season. It will be interesting to see if he follows suit or paces himself to stay on the bike and finish races for points.
I hope Colin Edwards gets his bike sorted out and starts being a contender again...
I am a big fan as well. He is a great guy. His Texas Tornado boot camp is literally 30 minutes from my home. ...but a bit expensive for me. I digress though. By MotoGP standards he is a bit of a Dinosaur. I just can't picture him being a contender. He is a bike developer.
