Ordered one for my 6th gen, but it will also fit from 1990+ VFRs, I like the powdercoated black look and for fun decided to weigh it at work. It came in at 1.4 lbs.
Not bad for $54 shipped.
I'm pretty sure the one I pulled off my bike weighed at least twice that much.

Only if they have separate part numbers - one for 3rd-5th Gen, and one for 6th Gen. For some reason Honda changed the sprocket bolt PCD just enough that they are not interchangeable.
I just looked them up at Sprocket Centre, there are separate listings but both have the same part number? I'd ask the question before I ordered...

It has more than one set of holes drilled for the different bolt patterns.
Much like a rim for a car that has both 4x100 and 4x114 bolt patterns on the same rim. Reduces production costs, as you only need to make the one piece to fit multiple applications. (as long as all other dimensions are the same anyway.)
Also, there is a definite difference in bolt hole diameter, now that I look at it.

They are made by Drive, and I haven't read any bad reviews about their stuff.

Well over 20K on 'em, and no signs of abnormal wear despite moderate abuse (dirt, rain etc.). Put a duplicate set on viffergyrl's 5th gen recently. Will replace my current set with same when it wears out.
1 lb 4 oz is lite for a 530 steel sprocket... that compares well with Mr.RC45's HRC aluminum sprocket
and my 43 T 525 trimmed and drilled steel modified sprocket at 1 lb 2 oz...

Whoa... yeah, I'm not sure what the weight on this one would be if I were to trim it even more in the areas that aren't bolted.

I have a Chain Gang (Australian manufacturer) steel 45T rear sprocket, their current VFR styles are pretty nice:
