Exhaust Manifold/downpipe Leak - 5Th Gen

I'm getting a '98 with 74k miles on it that has a Two Brothers exhaust on it, and it's pretty loud (the can is cut down some.)  However, I noticed an exhaust leak at the front of the motor, on the shifter side, where the exhaust is blowing out downward from a joint up pretty close to the head.  What would be the best way to seal this up?  Will I need to drop the entire exhaust, or is there a way to just fix this one joint?  What is likely wrong that allows this to leak?  Missing gasket?  Some sort of donut?

The can and the rear exhaust pipes are chrome or stainless, but the front pipes (including the leaker) look like factory, or at least unfinished steel (light rust, that is.)

The leak throws an unpleasant noise into the otherwise beautiful music made by the V-4!

I tried a search on exhaust leak, but found nothing relevant.

From your pics you may have the TBR stainless steel header system.  Very rare.  Pull the complete system off and install new copper gaskets ($3-4 each).  When you torque the stud nuts, make sure don't over tighten them.

IIRC the torque spec for the exhaust studs are about 9 ft/lbs

I won't hurt to use some anti-seize on the threads during re-assembly should it ever need to come back apart.  Hopefully you won't have any trouble with getting them off.
