Man, this kid has had a bad year. After missing a ton of race time due to shoulder surgeries, he was finally getting back to racing this weekend at Indy. Too bad he crashed in practice and dislocated his collar bone and is out. Luckily it was the other shoulder from the bad one but still...bummer. Could be a black cloud hovering over his career from here on out. Lots of good talent out there with few seats to get in MotoGP. Time will tell.
Remember this name... Cameron Beaubier. I think we'll see him on a factory GP bike in the not too distant future.
Sorry about you'r son's crash and his shoulder but it's good to hear your son is OK. The shoulder should heal and Cameron should be back on the saddle before you know it!

Funny, I was thinking the same thing. A rash of injuries is all it takes to end a career. A big heart is not enough.

I had the same thought. Regardless of why it has been happening, he's crashing and being injured too often. I think he's done in MotoGP.
Shoulder injuries can be bad enough all by themselves.

They never told him that that TC won't engage until you are in 2nd gear. He entered the turn in first. That incident is his team's fault.
Color me tired of all this electronic nightmare bs. I long for the days of no or very little TC. The 990's were a joy to watch slide through the corners.

The now-classic video of Garry McCoy sliding the 990 Kawasaki ZX-RR and hazing the rear tire is a delight to watch.
Wish they would do away with the rider aids altogether. A lot of the riders do too. It makes for processional racing.
It would make for great racing, but racing has turned into a proving ground for new technology as well as a racing event.
