Well... I managed to strip the bolt on the #3 spark plug coil and am looking for advice on how best to proceed?
Was thinking to drill head off and hope the remains will just back out, or maybe somehow cut a slot and use a screw driver, but there doesn't seem to be room to make the cut?
Never had to deal with something like this before, so before I dive in and really F it up I felt it best to seek guidance. Really appreciate any tips or tricks anyone may have, thanks.

Never mind, figured it out. I was indeed able to cut a slot using a Dremel tool, then a wide blade screwdriver with a open end wrench for additional leverage.

At the time I posted I didn't even think of using the Dremel tool, yes... I can be pretty sloooow at times. Now I'm wondering just why it is that Honda uses these socket type of bolt on the rear and regular type of bolts on the front?
I dont mind the socket head type but where in the hell do they get these socket heads that are so shallow. There not deep enough to get a good bite with a allen wrench .
Dremel cut a slot is a great idea. If you can get an impact screwdriver that would work well to get it loose.

Totally with you there mate. Early on in my experience I couldn't get one of these out either, and the dealer ended up doing it. They replaced it with a normal bolt.
But these days I'd attack it with a dremel and the wide range of tools I have at my disposal, much like you did.

I can't see any real good reason to use these socket type bolts... I'll be replacing them with a regular type bolt as well.
With a ball head on your allen wrench you can increase your angle off-axis to the screw but with the one's Honda uses there useless.
One of the handiest things to have around is a set of left-hand drill bits. A lot of times when you try to drill out the bolt to use an EZ-Out the drill bit will catch and back the bolt right out. They are great things to have when you need them.
