That time of year again folks, I'm looking for a few Quality Lead/Sweep team volunteers for our Novice and Intermediate groups for this years TexasMac. The Lead/Sweep teams are an integral part of the events success and they help play a major role in the safety of it's participants.
AS always I'm looking for a few leads who will Lead for their entire group keeping it's Safety as their main concern, fun will always follow with a properly lead group.
Please PM me if you can help out with either position and thanks for helping out!

BR

PS I stopped providing L/S teams for our Expert (formally-Intermediate) groups as these riders are very skilled and usually know the area well, if that doesn't cover you then you should be in a lower level group.

How many do you need?

Bailey,
Just throwing this out there, I'm planning on leading a 2 up ride for Sat. Going to be pretty short distances between stops, planning every 50 miles, with a picnic lunch, and non aggressive pace. Total ride will only be about 200 miles. Not sure how many 2 uppers there will be for Sat, but anyone interested is welcome, and we'll figure out a sweep based upon how many want to come (might end up leading and sweeping myself lol). I could take a couple relaxed people with me though if I don't end up getting many 2 up to fill the group.

I'll do a novice/scenic to Maggie Valley or similar.  Maybe one to Pumpkintown, too.

THANKS Glen, I would like at least two Novice Leads as we have about 14-15 in that group.

Pick a Friday & Sat route or whatever you know by heart.

I'll arrive Mon with Kanajan Ken, so I'll scope out a second loop beforehand.  Maybe some of the locals can scribble on a map for me.  Lunch in Pumpkintown still sounds appealing - anyone know if the diner/general store is still open?
