Looked for several weeks for a low mileage VFR with ABS. Only one found was this Gray color with 5,340 miles!
Wasn't my choice of color but it was all I could find.
Any ideas what I could do to make it "Pop" a little ... tastefully? I've ordered red reflective wheel trim and I've looked at various decals but not creative enough to come up with any good ideas?
Put a larger picture in my Gallery.
Thanks
VFR decals on top of the rim tape?

Simple when you ride your VFR you don't have to look at it so simply ride more.
Thanks all for comments and ideas. I think I'll post this on the MODIFICATIONS - Body and Paint thread assuming the moderators will let me do this? Hopefully I'll get some ideas from other generations.
Whatever I do, I'll come back here and post a picture.
Thanks, again........
Keep it simple. A yellow or blue tank pad to protect your nuts... whatever those things are called, and maybe wheel rim tape.
I put the Euro/Canadian OEM VFR decal on the upper fairings and some gold pazzo levers, someday I will get the wheels done....
Buy a 8 spoke wheel and a extra front and change the color .

If only you could actually find one of those...
I have the same color. I could not decide which direction to go, either but my wife talked me out of red accents. I ended up putting black levers on it and I painted the two muffler guards, the muffler end caps and the heat shield on the right side up pipe black. I have thought about getting the wheels done in black but I don't want to spend the money.
I have also thought about going with blue accents.
Something like this could work in the right shades..
Blue instead of Red to match Blue powder coat wheels

Plastidip would be nice here, not sure what you want? Plastidip some pieces and see. If you don't like it, peels right off and the paint is still good.
That red and dark grey looks good!

That's my problem - I'm not sure what I want. Looking for ideas. Not familiar with Plastidip but will look it up. I do like the silver picture you showed . Is it yours. Is that an example of Plastidip?
Plasti-dip is essentially spray on rubbery paint. It cures and will peel off of whatever you put it on without damaging the surface.

Sticker idea? No? Damn.
Personally I think she a sharp looking bike! Find an accent color and start small. Levers are good, rim tape too. Plus rim tape can be reflective and anything that increases visibility is a plus in my book.
I think if you have red accented levers and slipon, it would look very sharp.

and some of this

I had the same dilemma. I ended up polishing the wheels. They do require maintenance to keep looking good, but some polish and a Power Cone make it quick work. Not recommended if you ride much if any in the rain - it will greatly accelerate the oxidation process. A bright silver powdercoat could get a close result.

Performix is THE brand to get from my understanding. They also make a glossifier to spray on after you finish with the dip part, its actually a spray can, like paint like someone mentioned above, credit to pirate :)
I'll add a +1 to the fact that it looks sharp as-is. I'm becoming more of a minimalist though.
The only thing I would say is I've always liked the VFR decals on the Euro bikes. Right behind the blinkers on the side fairings. I would try to match the look of the interceptor logo on the tail. Not very "jazzy" but balanced is more my style.
I just thought of this, I like the look of TechSpec knee pads and tank protector. I bought them for their function, but they look good IMO too. You can see them in my gallery.
