I got my VFR 1200 DCT in 2010 as a DC commuter and fun bike. She has been so reliable I'm not had to research much on the mechanical design or owner problems.

I had a couple off initial question for my new friends:
1. Has any DCT variant owners had problems with the throttle reving when applying the front brake? It seem like when I hit the front brake hard the bike revs and drives forward because the motions are the same for both controls. It has happened a few times. Makes me miss the clutch lever control to disengage power.
2. Who makes the good aftermarket parts for the headlight and front fairing? I had a bump with a parking lot light pole and broke out the front headlight assembly. I need to watch out for those immovable objects when being stupid.

Re: 1. above...are you sure it's not you openeing the throttle as you lift your fingers off the throttle and onto the brake? I only mention this because it happened to me when I first fitted a Scottoiler Cramp Buster to my 6th Gen. In lifting the fingers, I rotated my wrist slightly which opened the throttle via the Cramp Buster. I soon learned to not accelerate into the thing I was braking for! Just wondered if something similar may be causing your issue.
