Hi all

Went on a ride out last weekend and kept getting a wiff of fuel as I was riding. I have now checked under the tank for any possible signs of a leak but shes bone dry!!
I Pulled out the air filter turned it over and noticed that the corner near to the crankcase breather was stained with fuel. looking inside the breather I could see a small amount of fuel and fuel staining in that corner of the air filter housing. I dont think fuel should be coming up there but I could be wrong.

The information I have researched so far would suggest that there could be a problem with the injectors and as the bike had been tucked away in the garage all winter fuel could have leaked down to the crank so mabe thats how fuel got into the breather. There has been a very slight wiff of fuel from time to time so it may well have been a developing fault. The oil also has a petrol smell which i have not noticed on previous yearly oil changes. Before I part with my cash I need to confirm/Test that this is indeed the fault.

Any ideas or possible under lying issues would be great. Bike runs very well and you can feel the VTEC kick in.

Many thanks

Regards

Chris
