Only Firing On One Cylinder

So riding home from work the other night and all is well, all of a sudden my 800 a2 vtec dies, almost complete loss of power and only firing on one cylinder (front left). Won't idle, struggling to start and sounds terrible.. Help!! It's currently in my local garage having its organs examined... Any advice welcome

Check all the connectors and grounds. Look at the R\R output voltage. These bikes run terrible on anything less then 12Vdc.

Local garage are currently testing all the connections with the fluke. They seem to think the pickup coil is possibly at fault at the moment, but testing is ongoing

No worries, thanks for the help. If I had the time I would be doing it all myself but unfortunately work just keeps getting in the way...

So the garage have diagnosed that pulse generator has failed, waiting on parts now..
