On many bikes the pegs have a bit of an inward slope to prevent that. Perhaps pressure wear on the pegs' mounting holes have caused the angle to change. The 4th gen's pegs definitely do wear that way.
Buy new pegs or buy this stuff .

Thanks, ill add to list of stuff I need to adjust/buy/modify.
Check the engine bolts are torqued up correctly.
Eliminate the root cause of vibration.
Possible steps to take:
- Balance wheels
- Replace chain and sprockets
- Tighten engine bolts
- Do a tune-up and/or make sure that the motor is firing on all cylinders
Duct tape?
Seriously, vibrations are that bad? Find another member who has a vfr, do a test ride comparison and see if you need to fix yours. Maybe only new soles on your boots...
So I did a test ride in some old sneakers ( yes I know not proper foot wear) and had no problem with my feet staying on the pegs.
