Hi, new here, first post. Just picked up an 05 last week. Getting it ready for spring. Did the LSL conversion last weekend. While looking for hard saddlebags, I ran across these on ebay
$700 for bags and brackets. A little more than V35s, but much less than OEMs/ brackets. I have searched but can find no info on these bags. Look identical to the Honda's. Anybody have any info on them?

you should look into them they use either their own mounts but will fit on givi mounts as well. that is the set up I have.
I'm going to second the plug for davidsilverspares. I ordered panniers from them last Tuesday, they made it to my house by Thursday. Included all of the mounting equipment, extra keys(both cases matched) and all of the instructions and whatnot.
These are very tempting but it appears they don't have them listed for any years before 2005. Does anyone know if the 2005 Red is the same (or "close enough") to the 2002 Red?

Mine don't, but what Conedodger says is definitely true. I think it's really dependent on what stock they have on hand when orders are made.
Side note, what windscreen do you have Conedodger? It looks pretty interesting.

Maybe you can call and ask for European spec bags and skip the reflector.

Amazingly I got an email yesterday from someone willing to sell me a pair of OEM bags, in Italian red, for $250. One bag has a small crack and a damaged hinge but otherwise they look brand new and are still fully functional/waterproof!

Ontario... I hope KanadianKen wasn't involved with those bags in any way. There might be some suspicious residue that can be seen with UV light. :goofy:

UPDATE
After countless hours of searching and research, I just pulled the trigger on a set of panniers, brackets, and soft bag liners. Ordered Shad SH36 bags with liners and the 3P brackets. All for under $500 shipped. The Give v35s were just too expensive and couldn't find any used. The OEM bags were good but I didn't want to paint the whole bag to match.

I've always had the Givi V35s before so was a little hesitant with the Shads but the cost savings, they look really nice (in pictures), and the mounting system convinced me to take the plunge. When they show I'll do an install/ review thread with lots of pics. :fing02:

I have a Shad mount for a Give top case that I am really happy with. Even works with the factory Honda saddlebags.
Just ordered a pair of these. Anyone able to recommend liners for these bags? I couldn't find anything when googling.
