Fuel Tank Gaskets

Not sure if this is the right forum but here goes. I had to replace my fuel tank due to some damage and cracks. I ordered new OEM gaskets for everything underneath the tank. The fuel pump gasket won't seal correctly. It seats fine but when I lean the tank over it has a slow trickle leaking out. Is there something special I need to do or does anyone have any ideas on what may be wrong?

It needs to be tightened to the correct torque to seal properly, check the torque values in the service manual & apply to the nuts.

Also check the flange that it mounts to ,they are damaged easily
