Aftermarket or OEM

I need to replace my rad fan switch. I can get an aftermarket one for much cheaper then a Honda issued one. Any drawbacks to buying aftermarket for this item? 

Honda doesn't make fan switches, so as long as you buy one as good as the one Honda buys, it will be fine.  I believe there are one and two-wire versions that fit (thread size and length), and you can use either if you're happy to play around with the wiring.

Thanks, I'm waiting for it to come in the mail. It looks identical to the oem one and hope its of the same quality. Only way is to find out once its on the bike.
