Good morning from Korea. I have owned my 2007 VFR 800 for about a year. I have noticed that even when the fuel tank is 100% full, it will read empty. After it warms up to operation temp, it will show that it is around 2/3 full. Never full. I was wondering what type of girl quality sensor is on this bike, and if it is an easy fix. I have normal tools and every tool in a helicopter maintenance tool room.

The fuel sender is a simple float and a rheostat that changes resistance with position. If the float is moving happily, then your problem is electrical. Some diagnosis is shown in the service manual.
