I've got a couple posts before this one, just wanted to say hello to everyone and what an incredible bike the VFR is. I had it out today for ~100 miles. Sunny, windy, about 57, running in some rural areas today. Without the wind, it was perfect riding weather. What a great bike this is. Smooth, power, comfortable, wish it had a little more torque off idle, but that's a small nitpick. These sure like to rev don't they?
Anyway -
Hello everybody, I appreciate the site and all I've learned from here already.
Cool! Glad you were able to ride today. Oddly, here in So. Cal it was cold, cloudy and a few sprinkles thrown in for good measure. All that didn't matter as I had planned to help someone with installing their Penske shock on an 01. Went in without a hitch.
If you haven't already seen it, follow RVFR, he's testing headers to set up a run for those interested and willing to part with "some" cash....dyno was not dramatically improved, but rideability is apparently impressive over stock!
