EDIT 01:

In another topic I explained that Traction Control was most likely not working on the 1200F. The dealership found some more issues and since they had a 2014 VFR1200X Crosstourer in stock we decided to swap the V for an X. So, as of last Saturday I am the owner of a 2014 VFR1200X! 😋

This weekend I drove several 100km's on it and I really like it.

Since last Saturday I am the owner of a Grey 2012 Honda VFR 1200F DCT.

This is my first (private) motorcycle with DCT and/or shaft drive.

Previous owned motorcycles:

Black 2003 Honda CBR1100XX Superblackbird

Black 1995 Honda VFR 750F Interceptor

I live near Rotterdam in The Netherlands (Europe)

Since I was a bit done with oiling the chain and wanting a more upright riding position I went looking for another motorcycle. (Lazy bastard 😕 )

I already owned 2 Honda's and a VFR so the 1200F was on top of my list very quickly. DCT promised even more lazyness and less effort/strain on the left hand so I decide to test drive one.

Although I am far from getting very used to DCT I like i so far! Lane splitting to a traffic light and launch on the green light is so easy and feels great (in S mode) 😍
