I tried it with my vtec. I sure was able to make it pop and backfire! Didn't really get any noticeable improvement with their suggested settings though. Back to normal the PC went.
I run the "stock" map from dynojet with a few low RPM tweaks, and I run the acclerator pump with the dynojets recommended "street" settings, and I like it, I think it helps with on/off smoothness. �I think the accelerator pump does hurt your fuel economy but that may just be a result of it inspiring you to get on the gas more.
You can definitely REALLY screw up your bikes response if you use the accelerator pump with the wrong settings! �I did experiment when I first turned it on. � :roll:
Dynojet's recommended starting point for a streetbike: 90% sensitivity 15% fuel increase 20 engine revolutions
Recommended for a racebike: 75% sensitivity 20% fuel increase 15 engine revolutions
My guess is that if your map is too rich you won't be able to feel anything with the accelerator pump, or it will mess things up.

I had a before and after run on my bike and the downloadable map was wayyyy rich according to the dyno run (average 12.8 to 1 fuel/air) so there is validity to BenSV's input if you are running dynojets free Map.
I would be suspicious if a dyno run even correctly measured the A/F mixture on a new VFR.
When I had mine dynoed (just a basic dyno, not a full tuning session), they determined they could not correctly measure the mixture on this bike without further work, so they didn't record it. The standard probe won't fit down the VTEC muffler and the cat and 2008 emissions package causes some changes in the readings.
AFAIK if I go have the bike tuned they'll have to take one of the O2 sensors out and place a special probe in the O2 sensor port, as the normal probe they had didn't look like it would work correctly.
