I am in the process of picking up an 03 VFR and I haven't gotten the owners manual yet, so please have patience with the question. I have been looking around BIKEBANDIT.COM & REPAIRMANUALS.COM and I can't find out how to get the list of Honda part numbers. I bought some microfiche for example with my 1985 Honda 500 Interceptor parts, but I don't see any comparable selection for the 2004 VFR. Can you order the fiche thru Honda or better yet, is there some form of PDF file with fiche images on it? Is ther a manual or publication with 2003 VFR part numbers coded etc?
Go to the Homepage, top right there is a menu, click on "parts catalog" there are parts catalogs for VFR's 1990-VTEC. The only parts missing on the VTEC are the newer color body parts.
Hey Slammer thnx for pointing that out I didn't know that was there smile.gif duh. I did check one thing specifically and seems the list is chopped off? Look at decals, then look at the decal on the front the european vtec "vfr vtec v4", it has the part number for item '6', but not 7, 8, and 9. I think I could guess what they are but would be nice to know. Maybe it's just me? Later dude. :cool:
Thanks for the replies. Is this proveded by Honda, or a member having uploaded something? Is it public information? Reason is that if I have to do a complete teardown of my bike, I sure want to be able to get hold of part numbers and I can get parts thru Honda, but not the parts catalogue for my old 85. Would not like to get stuck in the future without a catalogue later.
