All 27- Delkevic Slip-on for 6th Gen Sounds great and I like the color of the bike. Well, thank you, although the color has now changed (see http://www.vfrdiscus...-some-fork-oil/ )
- I Only Had To Buy Some Fork Oil... you should pait the radiators black too. i painted mine in place, just masked everything around them off, nice accent touch if you ask me! Wouldn't that affect the radiator's performance?
- I Only Had To Buy Some Fork Oil... Yeah, somehow I found time in between coats to change the forks' oil (now I have to adjust the SAG again). Sent from my Nexus 4 using Tapatalk 2
- I Only Had To Buy Some Fork Oil... Thank you all for your comments. It looks better in the photos than in real life (specially up close) but the overall look is great. Nicely done. Timmy - (the famous one) - will be thrilled. Nice silencers-got an audio…
- I Only Had To Buy Some Fork Oil... Couple of weeks ago I decided to replace the oil on my forks (I had put new valves and springs from Jamie Daugherty only a few months ago but wasn't 100% happy with the oil I used) so went to the shop to buy some and…
- What's this weird noise? [image: View Post]spud786, on 04 November 2012 - 07:14 PM, said: or a drop of silicone behind the nut, so nut wont easily back off, that should peel off easy when needed. We already had one guy who lost their topend,…
- What's this weird noise? [image: View Post]spud786, on 04 November 2012 - 07:00 PM, said: might want to drop a drip of loctite on the threads, so risk if nut loosens,= bad news. Thought about that but then also thought that it would actually…
- What's this weird noise? Well I can confirm now that the noise in my case was the CCT! I have replaced the stock, non-adjustable ones for a pair of CRU's manual units and the "ticking" noise is gone! They are a b!tch to adjust (not easy to…
- Delkevic Slip-on for 6th Gen For those of you still following... The replacement cans arrived today! I was already impressed with Delkevic's delivery time first time around but they beat themselves this time and the package got to Sydney from…
- Delkevic Slip-on for 6th Gen An update: Spoke to Delkevic after installing the baffles and told them that I thought something was amiss as it didn't seem right that I have to drill a hole myself and even after doing that and installing them the way…
- What's this weird noise? I have been getting something similar on my '02 lately and from my investigation I suspect is the cam chain tensioner. I didn't notice it before but after my last oil change it's very noticeable, probably due to the oil…
- Delkevic Slip-on for 6th Gen I guess the reason why they make the customer drill the holes is that the exhaust come with no baffles, the baffles were and extra $10 each and I can see how some customers wouldn't use or want them. Not too fussed abut…
- Delkevic Slip-on for 6th Gen Than you. The stock sound was one of the few things that I didn't like in VFR but that is now fixed... I ride all year long but we are now on the middle of spring so I guess you could say our riding season has started!…
- Delkevic Slip-on for 6th Gen Ok guys, even though it was late and getting dark I have now put the baffles on! The Delkevic chap told me to drill a hole on the bottom of the exhaust tip and screw the baffle there. Only issue I had was that there are…
- Delkevic Slip-on for 6th Gen So I guess what I'm saying is that if you fear you may be offending your neighbors, then they are probably too loud. My opinion only of course. I guess you are right. The thing is, they sound really loud when on the…
- Riot Grrrl, The Crash, The Story, The Pictures Only been on this forum for a few months and browsing through it I found your story yesterday and been reading about your adventure. All i can say is WOW!!! You have such courage and determination... it makes me even…
- Delkevic Slip-on for 6th Gen No turning back now... I have just paid for them so would have them here in the next couple of weeks, will let you know how they go. I also ordered the baffles for an extra $20 as from all reports this things are LOUD…
- Delkevic Slip-on for 6th Gen Ordered a set of the Stainless Steel stubby round ones ( http://www.ebay.com/...e&forceRpt=true ) with the db killers. Waiting on comined invoice and then shipping so I guess I'll have them here in a couple of weeks,…
- Erratic temperature reading 6th Gen Kaldek, I must thank you. Yesterday I took the left fairing off, unplug the connectors, blow some air on them to clean them, plug them back in and put it all back together. Then I turned the bike on and after a couple…
- Erratic temperature reading 6th Gen Most likely this would be caused by a bad connection from the ECT sensor plug. The ECT sensor has two outputs - one goes to the dash and the other goes to the ECU. If it's just the dash wire which is dodgy the bike will…
- Erratic temperature reading 6th Gen A weird one for yous... The other day, after getting the 929 shoc in and the new fork internals (thanks JD) I went out for a ride to test things out. The ride was vastly improved, although I still need to tune the shock…
- Delkevic Slip-on for 6th Gen Careful,....wasn't this the brand that had crummy craftsmanship at "Y" joins on their pipes?? Could be... I've heard mixed opinions about them. Reason why I'm asking in here before I order.
- Delkevic Slip-on for 6th Gen Been looking at "budget" slip-on for my 6th gen for a while and today I came across these Delkevics on their eBay store ( http://stores.ebay.c...d=p4634.c0.m322 ) I believe these are completely new design as they…
- CBR929 Shock fitment, '02 non-ABS I didn't have to "force" anything, it just slipped right in. The bracket on the left has enough space for the reservoir to slot in there or at least it does on my bike. BTW, mine is an '02 model as well. In insight, the…
- CBR929 Shock fitment, '02 non-ABS I got it in too.! Jamie had been of great help through the process, you in fact he is still helping me with the forks as I stuffed that up myself. All you need to get installed is to remove Jamie's bracket before…
- Vtec Shock Options Hi guys, I am the other guy who couldn't get it to nstalled but finally did it without any mods. I followed the same procedure as Slow here after getting confirmation from Jamie to assure me it fits, and that is…
- CBR929 Shock fitment, '02 non-ABS Hey 1TallTXn, I'm the same situation as you. Got a 929 shock from Jamie and just spent the whole day trying to get it in with no success. Well, actually, I did manage to have it in and bolted at some point but with the…
