Announcing the VFRD Picture Contest.

Voting Has Begun!!

In order of Uploaded Date Chose your Favorite Photo!!

Prizes:
Grand Prize one set of tires from SWMoto.com of your choice available for street riding tires for VFR Motorcycles. For Second Place a battery Tender. Third place a Tee Shirt of your choice from the VFRD store.

Eligibility
In order to enter you must be a minimum of 18 years of age
Be a US resident of the lower 48 states (only place SW ships to)
Must own the rights to the photo entered, no photos copyrighted by third parties.
Must be a member of vfrdiscussion.com
Must Upload your photo into the VFRD picture Gallery - those already in the gallery are included OF VFR MOTORCYCLES!!
Must be a VFR Photo
Must allow VFRD copyright of the photo.
Moderators are not eligible, only Members and VFRD VIP members can enter this contest.

Entry Period
Only photos entered into the VFRD Gallery are eligible, VFRD has a 4mb cap for each member but will resize photos automatically you are allowed to enter as many photos as are allowed in your account - must be a VFRD member to have an account.

Deadline for photo Entries is Feb 28th, then photos will be judged for the top 20 by the moderator staff and I, and a poll will run for one week to choose the winner - only members can vote in the poll to declare the top 3 contestants!!

The winners will be declared by the poll. in the event of ties votes the winner will be be chosen by the moderator staff if it comes down to that.

How to start a photo album

Add New Album Here

Click the link above and upload your photos using the tool provided, a per picture cap of 300k is imposed to prevent the server from bogging down, so you may have to crop your photos if the file size is over 300k. Please make sure to click the checkbox marked "public" so your album can be viewed. When photos are uploaded into the gallery they are automatically resized to 640 x 480 to save bandwidth, so final file sizes are smaller than uploaded.

How to use the Gallery

I entered a few pics of my own. I'm not a US resident, but I do have a US address where things can be send to, so there. ;) Besides, if nothing else, I'd like to have shot at my 15 mins of fame!

Not sure what your talking about there? Please this is a tire giveaway to give back to the forum. sombody is gonna win a set of tires just by uploading a MOTORCYCLE photo of their VFR in the Gallery! Yea its cause of these wonderful donations its time to give back to the membership.

All I can do, now that most of my tinkering is finished, is stare at it, and take pics. A lot of pics. Thanx for the outlet, Slammer! Thought I was gonna pop, before I could, "show-off", my goodies.

I would assume 5 was best, as in 4 out of 5 stars etc.

Never had a reason to until you bait me in with a purpose. I guess I'll try rollong it out in the snow and snap a pic of a few flurries flying by. Still, Shipping to AK is out of the question.

But the most viewed were amoung the oldest -Lol cant go by either for this contest. So the moderators will still chose 20 of thier favorites and then we hold an Election........Stole that line from ol "W".

HS, Sorry if I missed it, but are we suppose to vote/rate the picture's also ? I thought the Moderators were doing all the voting ?
There are some great shot's, but I haven't rated one yet ! :unsure:
