Busy Little Shop sent me a PM asking why not do a member relay, sort of like at Reeky.com where they pass a shirt along from member to member. I thought about it and then posted something about it in the shout box. Which got this funny response. Sorry Reeky dudes we stole your idea...good idea too!

HAt , shirt flaf whatever, count me in sounds like a great idea.....
so I sent a sweat shirt to Baileyrock (doesn't know it yet) who should pass "The Flaf" around at the Mini Meet Annual TexMac Ride so everybody there can sign it, then one member will take possession of "The Flaf" with the task of rideing to some destination where another member will then take it and pass it on to another member. This will only work if members pass it on to other members and don't horde it, sometimes if need be it should be mailed around from one place to another if riding it is impossible. Such as AU or over seas,
I would love to see photos of "The Flaf" all over the world, all over the states, in Canada, the Grand Canyon, Niagra Falls, The Alps where we go on our VFR's
I ask only one thing, take a picture of yourself with it and post it here along with a story of how you got it and where you are taking it! Stick pins on it, patches whatever, I hope this thing has 3000 names on it by the time its done!
Tin Man, Feb 28 2005, 12:47 PMGreat Idea larry. Problem is Bailey, Hurricane, and myself may get wing sause on it before the texasmac meet.
You say that like it's a bad thing. I would never do such a thing. :P
Don't send it to mister Frugal, because he will keep it. :P Come on California. Send it to me by July, and I will bring it to Laguna Seca. Should get loads of signatures there.

You're welcome but fellow Reekyite Don Binns up in Alberta Canada gets credit for the original idea... I took part in the NART Tour last year and thought it was fun... I liked how it brought riders together for the first time... our shirts even made a round trip to Hawaii and back... yea we had two because of all the names...

Is there a meaning behind the letters F L A F???
In the shoutbox - we were going back and forth about sending a shirt, or an item, etc around. I suggessted a Flag - and Dude replied with a keying error - mispelled Flag - put in Flaf... unless Dude really has an underlying meaning. hmmmm
I'm going on a trip to Cape Breton in early June and you can't get too much further northeast on the continent than that unless you're heading to Newfoundland! I would gladly photograph the FLAF on the Cabot Trail and pass it on to the Canadian contingent for a westward journey towards Laguna Seca.

Are you kidding me? Underlying meaning? What do you mean :P This is hilarious, and a great idea too..... Bring on the Flaf
